Close to this hotel, in the direction of the village, you will find the Grotto del Parco Restorant which offer among the best gastronomy not oly in Switzerland but probably around Europe. The food is just great, of excellent quality, and the people working in the restorant are very nice and professional! Cuisine is high on northern Italian foods. Lunching at Grotto del Parco in Morcote, overlooking Lake Lugano, was the highlight of our visit. Chef-owner Maurizio Nobs prepared a delectable grilled trout with almonds (caught in the lake that morning) accompanied by polenta and an excellent local merlot -- Tre Monti.
